
Nicholas Reynolds, tenor
Nicholas Reynolds, tenor, is thrilled to make his debut with Opera Today! as King Kaspar in Amahl and the Night Visitors.
A native of Wabash, Indiana, Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from Indiana University and a Master’s degree in Voice from Ithaca College. He began his musical journey at Manchester University before attending IU Fort Wayne to further his vocal studies.
Nicholas’s performance credits include a wide range of roles and repertoire. Notable appearances include Tamino in Die Zauberflöte, John Adams in The Wolf by the Ears, Bob in The Old Maid and the Thief, Aeneas in Dido and Aeneas, Peter Quint in The Turn of the Screw, and Bill in A Hand of Bridge. He has also been featured as a tenor soloist in Handel’s Messiah, and performed at Cantate Carlisle’s 35th anniversary gala.
Now based in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, Nicholas lives with his wife, Amber, and their three children. He is an active member of the local music community, frequently appearing as a soloist with Cantate Carlisle and serving as Vice President on the organization’s Board of Directors.
