
Emily Rose Lynn, soprano
Emily Rose Lynn, soprano (she/her) is a spirited young soprano from North Manchester, Indiana. Emily has had the pleasure of performing several roles of varying personalities. Her most recent operatic performances were as Sour Genovieffa in Suor Angelica (Puccini), and as Hannah in Pathway to Heaven (Gorb) with Lawrence Opera Theater. Other roles include Morgana in Alcina, Frasquita in Carmen (Bizet), Adelaide/ Ms. Thompson/ Helen in The House Without a Christmas Tree (Gordon), Lauretta and Nella in Gianni Schicci (Puccini), Zerlina in Don Giovanni (Mozart), Amelia in Amelia Goes to the Ball (Menotti), Valencienne in The Merry Widow (Lehar), and Faustine in the collegiate debut of The Invention of Morel (Stewart Copeland).
Emily completed her undergraduate studies in Music and French at Manchester University, her Master’s in Vocal Performance at University of Missouri at Kansas City, and her Artist Diploma at William Jewell College. She now teaches private voice and piano lessons, as well as preschool music classes. In her free time, she dedicates her time serving as an administrator for Opera on Tap Kansas City, running on trails, and painting.
